2010 March into Cups Tournament Saturday, March 20, 2010 & Sunday, March 21, 2010 REGISTRATION IS OPEN...Save the Date !!! Rain date is June 5th and 6th Please join us in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania to prepare your teams for the upcoming State Cup season. Last year, more than 180 teams participated in highly competitive matches. Feedback from the tournament participants was outstanding and we are pleased to be hosting the event again in 2010. The tournament will be Saturday, March 20th for Girls and Sunday, March 21st for Boys. With your paid registration of $425 for U9 and U10 or $475 for U11 and older, you are guaranteed at least 3 games. More importantly, your team will shake off the winter blues as you assess their capabilities against strong competition and prepare for the highly anticipated State Cup games. | Buckingham United Soccer Club |
The Buckingham United Soccer Club is the travel soccer program of Central Bucks Athletic Association.
CBAA is a non-profit, charitable organization. Athletic activities of CBAA are organized, funded and coached through volunteer efforts. All monies derived through fees, donations or fund raising are used to offset expenses associated with the conducting and encouraging of sports activities.
The club was formed over 30 years ago and currently has overf 30 teams playing in competitive leagues all around the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area  |

| Lighting Plan Approved for Herbst Sports Complex January 19th |
| The presentation of the lighting plan was a directive from the Judge from the last court appearance. Both parties were asked to work out a solution in good faith 3 Basketball Courts and 4 front fields will be lit. CBAA and the township are working on an agreed time schedule for the lights. The agreement from 2004 has been reinstated. If Plumstead provides lighted fields in the future for CBAA to use, the lights will be discontinued at Herbst. . [+ full article] |

The entire CBAA membership sincerely thanks and commends the residents of Buckingham Township and the Board of Supervisors: Maggie Rash, Jon Forest and Henry Rowan for their leadership and support. The Board's expeditious approval of our request to set up and operate temporary lights at Holicong Park for early evening practices well into the fall has provided timely and much needed assistance to our program which supports several hundred youth athletes - many of them Buckingham residents. | Referendum passed & Congratulations to elected Township Supervisors Hilferty, Stork and Rash |
The Plumstead Active Open Space Bond Referendum was passed last night by Township residents. CBAA thanks Plumstead voters' support for providing additional playing fields for local youth athletes. This is just the first step - please continue to urge the Plumstead Board of Supervisors and the Township's Parks and Recreation Committee members to keep this initiative moving so that playing fields are available as quickly as possible. CBAA also wishes the best of luck and congratulations to Maggie Rash in Buckingham Township as well as Dan Hilferty and Wayne Stork in Plumstead Township on their victories. Finally, CBAA acknowledges and appreciates the time and effort put forth by all candidates in their election bids - we praise their willingness to serve our communities. |

Great Work! Mission Complete! Thanks to everyone who showed up to help! Have a Great Thanksgiving! Good Luck to any teams playing in Turkey Tournaments. ONE LAST CALL....PLEASE HELP! We are planning on taking down the lights next Tuesday Nov 24th. The fencing needs to be removed and the hay bales need to be staged on the Holicong Park Parking Lot. We also need help in moving the lights to the parking lot. Volunteers can arrive between 7 and 8 to help with the fence take down. Between 8 and 8:30 the lights we be moved to the lot. | Lighting at Herbst Sports Complex |
The History: - Plumstead Twp agreed to provide lighted sports at the Hirst Tract (Route 611 near Fred Beans Ford) by July 2008 or CBAA would be allowed to install lights at the Herbst Complex. To date - the Plumstead Twp Supervisors have not met their obligation and have forestalled CBAA's efforts.
- Plumstead Twp issued a zoning violation to CBAA despite the care and prudence in operating the temporary lights at Herbst Fields.
