Buckingham United is having Goalie Development Training beginning this Thursday 8/5

Herbst Field 2

6-8pm

1st three(3) Thursdays in August

Conducting the Training will be:

Jason Obetz: Division 1 Goalkeeper (Rutgers University)

Sue Griffith: Division 1 Goalkeeper (Lasalle University)

The Sessions will be provided free to all current Buckingham Players & coaches. Coaches are encouraged to attend.

Due to field conditions, all games (GIRLS) scheduled for Saturday, March 20th are postponed and moved to the rain date of June 6th. 

All Games (BOYS) Scheduled for Sunday March 21st are now scheduled for Saturday, June 5th.

Last year was great fun with even better competition, join us this year in the early spring to get you and your team prepared for the start of the season and the state cups.

All girl teams will be playing on Saturday, March 20th and the boys on March 21st.

You are guaranteed at least three games over the course of the day.

BU Soccer Congratulates 10 Fall Division Champions and Runners Up...and Great Sportsmanship

 

Congratulations to all our Buckingham United Fall League Division Winners and Runner Ups

  • U9F BU Wave...went undefeated 8-0-2 out scoring opponents 32-6 to finish as ICSL D2 Champions. Congrats on great first season... to all the Girls and Coaches Kevin Herbst and Kurt Braun
  • U10M BU Gunners...out scored opponents 41 to 24 to finish 8-1-1 as ICSL Div 4 Champions...Great job on the offense to all the boys and Coach Mark Ullman
  • U10F BU Flash... out scored opponents 17- 8 to finish with a 6-2-2 record as ICSL Div 1(Top Division) Runner up. Congrats to Coach Jake Morris and All the Girls
  • U10B BU Vipers... Had a championship season out scoring opponents 27 - 5 during an undefeated 8-0-2 season to win th ICSL Div 3 Championship. Congrats to all the boys and Coach Bill Griffith.
  •  U11F BU Storm...The Storm used extremely stingy defense allowing only 3 goals against while scoring 16 to finish with a strong 7-1-2 record and take runner up honors in the ICSL Green Division. Congratulations to all the Girls and Coaches Sean Matthews and Alan Galow
  • U12B BU Lighting... The lighting used strong defense giving up only 3 goals while scoring 18 to Win the ICSL Div 2 with a 6-1-3 record. Great job on the Team defense by all players and Coach Chris Lugossy
  • U13M  BU Dynamo... had a very strong season finishing as Runner up in Delco Div 1 and look forward to moving up to Premiere level next year. Congrats to Coaches Scott Strassburg and Frank Moldovanyi and all the Boys.
  • U15M  BU Blaze... Went undefeated (9-0-1) out scoring opponents 27 - 4... led with great team defense and strong offense to take Championship in the ICSL Elite Division. Congratulations to all the boys and Coaches Beedle, Pousley and Zielke
  • U16F BU Blitz.... had a super season led by an un stoppable offense out scoring opponents 49 - 12... I thought 41 was a lot...to finish 9-1-0 as LCSL Div 1 Champions. Fantastic job on offense by all the Girls and Coaches Dom Stellato and Tom Potts with great help from Trainer Ian Dawson.
  • U17F BU Comets...had excellent season but a little disappointing after out scoring their opponents 32 - 4 (far and away the best goal differential in their division) they finished 7-2-1 to take Runner up honors. Congrats to all the Girls and Coach Sean Fryat.

Not only did our Teams compete extremely well... they demonstrated outstanding Sportsmanship as shown by the fact that our Female Teams received no (zero) Cards in ICSL play and our Male teams only received 1 Yellow card in ICSL League play.

Again congratulations to all the players and Coaches... and Thank you to all the parents supporting our teams.

Lighting Plan Approved

The presentation of the lighting plan was a directive from the Judge from the last court appearance.  Both parties were asked to work out a solution in good faith

3 Basketball Courts and 4 front fields will be lit.  CBAA and the township are working on an agreed time schedule for the lights.  The agreement from 2004 has been reinstated.  If Plumstead provides lighted fields in the future for CBAA to use, the lights will be discontinued at Herbst.

 
CBAA Policy on Multiple Sports and Primary Seasons

CBAA's purpose is to provide opportunities for the youth athletes of Central Bucks to participate and develop at a competitive level in one or more sports in both travel and intramural programs.
