ON-LINE REGISTRATION

SPRING 2010 PROGRAM

FAST FACTS

·      We will open the online registration service at 8:00 pm on 11/1/09.

·      Registration will run from 11/1/09 thru 1/03/10.  We will accept LATE registrants from 12/31/09 thru 1/03/10.  Late registrants will be charged an additional late fee of $25!

Fees: The 2010 fees (per player) for the boys program are $115 for 1st/2nd graders and $170 for 3rd thru 8th graders.  The girl’s program fees are $115 for 2nd thru 4th graders and $170 for 5th thru 8th graders.

·       Volunteering Positions: we have re-tooled the volunteering positions to better serve the lacrosse program.  We operate CB Lightning Lacrosse entirely through the amount and quality of our parent volunteers.  We do acknowledge (and can appreciate) that no parent can volunteer within the program.  For those parents and families, we are offering a Volunteer Buy-Out Fee as part of registration.  These fees help the program offset costs incurred to supplement our volunteer efforts.

PLAYER USER NAME AND PASSWORD

For those players who have registered online previously with our organization, you have been given a user name (your e-mail address) and password for all future registration sessions. Please utilize that information to help speed your way through the registration process.

ACTIVE U.S. LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED

Participation in CB Lightning Lacrosse requires an active Youth Player membership in U.S. Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse. Part of your CB Lightning Lacrosse registration fees will cover your membership fees with US Lacrosse for the upcoming year. CB Lightning Lacrosse will capture your information from the online registration process and automatically register your player. However, to facilitate this, we will need your assistance as outlined below:

For those players who participated in CB Lightning Lacrosse in the spring and/or fall '09 seasons, you are already a member of U.S. Lacrosse. Even though you are already an active member, we will ask you to provide your U.S. Lacrosse membership ID # and expiration date. Your number can be found in any of the following three ways:

1. From your membership card that your player received in the mail from U.S. Lacrosse.

2. On the printed label of any issue of Lacrosse magazine you received recently.

3. By going to US Lacrosse's website at www.uslacrosse.org, clicking Membership Info from the home page, and you can then look up your Player's ID # and expiration date.

So, please get your U.S. Lacrosse membership ID # and expiration date and have them ready BEFORE you continue with the on-line registration.

For those players who did not participate in CB Lightning Lacrosse in the spring or fall '09 seasons, but are active members of U.S. Lacrosse, you must also input your membership number and expiration date during the on-line registration (no exceptions). If you don't know your membership ID # and expiration date, you can get them in any of the 3 ways described above.

For those players who are not active members of U.S. Lacrosse, you must indicate “NONE” for the # and the date of registration for the expiration date.  The registration will not proceed to the next field without doing so.

PAYING YOUR CB LIGHTNING LACROSSE REGISTRATION FEE

You can choose from the following 2 convenient ways to pay your registration fee:

1. Pay on-line with a credit card or PayPal account as part of this on-line registration (HIGHLY ENCOURAGED and $5 cheaper).

2. Pay by mail (check).  c/o CBAA Lacrosse 4033 Sawmill Rd, Doylestown, PA  18902  PLEASE NOTE PAYMENTS BY CHECK THIS YEAR WILL NEED TO INCLUDE AN ADDITONAL $5 PROCESSING FEE PER CHECK.

You'll get more details about these two ways to pay as you proceed through the registration process.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• Registration fees exclude: cost of the player's personal equipment; officiating fees (handled separately by each team to include regular games and extra tournament charges
• Each player is responsible for providing his or her own approved equipment
• No refunds will be made after 12/31/09 for any reason
