WELCOME TO CB LIGHTNING LACROSSE'S ON-LINE REGISTRATION

FOR THE

FALL 2010 PROGRAM

FAST FACTS

• ONLINE registration service is now open. ALL registration shall be online and we will not accommodate "walk-up" registration.

•·         Registration will run thru 08/27/10!!!!  Due to ordering of supplies and pinnies, LATE registration will be LIMITED and on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact Anthony Ventresca at cbaalightninglax@gmail.com for information related to LATE REGISTRATION.

• Sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons, starting September 12^th, for 8 sessions through October 31st.  Sessions will run for a 1 ½ to 2 hour period each Sunday; weather permitting.
•  All BOYS players will require proper equipment to participate as follows: lacrosse helmet, lacrosse shoulder pads, elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, lacrosse stick, protective wear, mouthpiece, and cleats. 
• All GIRLS players will require proper equipment to participate as follows: lacrosse stick, lacrosse specific protective eyewear mouthpiece and cleats. 
• Volunteering Positions: We operate CB Lightning Lacrosse entirely through the amount and quality of our parent volunteers. If you are able to assist the program with field lining / preparation, assistant coaching, etc, please select that section in the registration process.

PLAYER USER NAME AND PASSWORD

For those players who have registered online previously with our lacrosse organization, you have been given a user name (your e-mail address) and password for all future registration sessions. Please utilize that information to help speed your way through the registration process.

ACTIVE U.S. LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED

Participation in CB Lightning Lacrosse requires an active Youth Player membership in U.S. Lacrosse, the national governing body of lacrosse. For those players who participated in CB Lightning Lacrosse in the spring of  '10 season, you are already a member of U.S. Lacrosse. Even though you are already an active member, we will ask you to provide your U.S. Lacrosse membership ID # and expiration date. Your number can be found in any of the following three ways:

1. From your membership card that your player received in the mail from U.S. Lacrosse.

2. On the printed label of any issue of Lacrosse magazine you received recently.

3. By going to US Lacrosse's website at www.uslacrosse.org, clicking Membership Info from the home page, and you can then look up your Player's ID # and expiration date.

So, please get your U.S. Lacrosse membership ID # and expiration date and have them ready BEFORE you continue with the on-line registration.

For those players who did not participate in CB Lightning Lacrosse in the spring '08 season, but are active members of U.S. Lacrosse, you must also input your membership number and expiration date during the on-line registration (no exceptions). If you don't know your membership ID # and expiration date, you can get them in any of the 3 ways described above.

For those players who are not active members of U.S. Lacrosse, you MUST register with US Lacrosse on their website and receive a membership # PRIOR to beginning the on-line registration process.  Please visit the US Lacrosse website www.uslacrosse.org and click on the "Membership" tab and you will be directed how to become US Lacrosse members.  US Lacrosse is your only form of insurance for participation in CB Lightning Lacrosse.  NO player may participate without a valid, and CURRENT US Lacrosse membership.

PAYING YOUR CB LIGHTNING LACROSSE REGISTRATION FEE

You can choose from the following 2 convenient ways to pay your registration fee:

1. Pay on-line with a credit card or PayPal account as part of this on-line registration (HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!!!!!!!!).  Save $10.00 if you have a CB blue/white pinnie from prior years!

2. Pay by check (+$5): please contact Anthony Ventresca at cbaalightninglax@gmail.com for details on payment by check.  ALL PAYMENTS BY CHECK MUST BE RECEIVED BY AUGUST 23^RD.

You'll get more details about these two ways to pay as you proceed through the registration process.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

• Registration fees exclude the cost of the player's personal equipment
• Each player is responsible for providing his or her own approved equipment
• No refunds will be made after 8/30/10 for any reason
