Winter Club Goalkeeper Training

Each week, the club offers extra training for goalkeepers of both genders.  We would like your teams' goalkeepers to attend each week, and the Club strongly encourages your goalkeepers to attend their respective training sessions. 

Bewar Yousif will run goalkeeper training this winter.

Olympic Development Program (ODP) POOL PLAYERS!

Congrats to the following players for being named to the Utah Youth State Select ODP pools for the 2014-2015 year!  All age group pools will be traveling to Mesquite, NV for a 3 day ODP Training Combine, with the 1998 through 2002 age group teams competing in early January in the USYS Far West Regional ODP Championships in Phoenix, AZ.

FFC is excited to Announce our New Academy Program!!!!!

 

FFC Advantage Academy

 

The FFC Advantage Academy offers FFC RECREATIONAL players ages 6-10 years old the opportunity for advanced skill development in soccer through age appropriate activities. FFC has designed a series of skills sessions that are challenging and FUN.

 

The fundamentals in the FFC Advantage Academy are the following:

 

-Teaching the techniques of soccer utilizing a combination of ball mastery/foot work

 and age appropriate soccer activities.

 

 -Providing an enjoyable environment which builds ALL players’ self-esteem

 and enjoyment of the game

 

For Whom is the FFC Advantage Academy designed?

The FFC Advantage Academy recreational player, registered with FFC, interested in Advanced Skill Training. The Skills Clinic is designed for players looking for some extra advanced skill training in addition to their recreational practices and games.  

The FFC Advantage Academy will consist of a total of (20) one-hour training sessions:

(10) sessions in the Fall (August – October); Aug. 14, 21, 28; Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25; Oct. 2, 9, 16

(10) sessions in the Spring (March - May); TBA

These sessions will be conducted by qualified FFC approved coaches.

 

The sessions will focus on the technical aspects of soccer:

 

-Dribbling

-Passing and receiving

-Fakes and turns

-Finishing

-1 v 1, 2 v 2, and small-sided games

 

Cost for the (20) one-hour sessions including FFC Advantage Academy shirt: $115
