MYC Robotics Program Registration - 2017 Season
About MYC's Robotics Program:
The FIRST Lego Program is the travel team of the mind. While participating in the FLL, kids will discover the fun of science and technology by working together in teams to investigate existing real world problems that surround the themed challenge. Participant’s research and offer solutions by designing, building, and programming autonomous robots using Lego Models. Team members have the opportunity to take field trips and speak with industry scientists, subject matter specialists, CEOs and doctorates to investigate how the world around us works, and they will compete locally against other teams.
- Junior First Lego League Ages 5-9yo (JrFLL) 6 members per team, at least one Mentor - $75
- First Lego League ages 9 – 13yo (FLL) 10 members per team, at least two Mentors - $100
- First Tech Challenge 14 – 18yo (FTC) 10 members per team, at least one Mentor - $125
Teams will start meeting the week of September 11th and will meet through December or their last scheduled competition. Each team meets for one session per week for approximately 2 hours.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU REGISTER -- IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE: Registration is open to the public; however, participants of MYC's robotics programs from the prior season are given priority in placement on teams. Remaining, open spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve registration basis.
