To apply for Misfits Athletic membership simply click on the button below & fill out the registration form. Upon completion you will be sent an email confirmation.

Full membership to Misfits Athletic will be granted once you have played a few games, participated in a few club nights and both the Club Captain & Vice Captain feel that you will do justice to being part of the tribe. The unique approach of Misfits Athletic is not for everyone - so this getting to know each other period is a valuable part of the process, ensuring all parties have a clear understanding of what they are signing up for.

There are 3 membership categories. Each receives a Misfit playing jersey and eligibility to play all games. Note that fees will not be required until full membership has been approved.

FAQ's about Selection & Funding

How do I know what games are coming up? You will get a regular communication (email or SMS), providing advanced notice of each game in the coming months. All games are listed on the main website and you are able to select which games you would like to play on the club chatboard - details of which are provided on membership approval.

How will I know if I've been picked? Before each game the captain will select the team, and publish it via email or SMS.

On what basis will teams be selected? This will be at the captains discretion taking into account, the oppositions ability & the intent to give every member as many games as possible. For tournaments & highly competitive games the best possible side will be selected.

What if there are not enough registered members available for a game? Registered members will always be given playing priority. If there are not enough registered players available then guests may be invited to play. As a principle guests will be asked to register after playing 1 game.

How & who do I pay? You should pay your membership fees to the Misfits Athletic bank account

Individual match fees will be collected on the day by the nominated team captain and passed to the club Treasurer, Captain or Vice Captain.

Who manages the Misfit Finances? Misfits Cricket is a non profit organisation and all funds are managed by the club treasurer.
