Online registration for the Misfits 2009 season is now open. Simply click on the button below & fill out the registration form. You'll then be sent an automated email confirmation together with a unique password that you can use to show your availability to play.
There are 3 registration categories.Each receives a Misfit playing jersey and eligibility to play all games.

FAQ's about Selection & Funding
Why do I need to register? By registering you become eligible for team selection.
How do I know what games are coming up? You will get a regular email, providing you with advanced notice of each game in the coming months. All games are listed on the main website.
How do I show that I am available to play?
All games are are listed on the Misfit Chatboard - where you are able to indicate your availability for selection. Passwords to access the chat board will be sent once your membership has been processed.
How will I know if I've been picked? 1 week before each game the captain will select the team, and publish it on the message board.
On what basis will teams be selected? This will be at the captains discretion taking into account, the oppositions ability & the intent to give every member as many games as possible. For tournaments & highly competitive games the best possible side will be selected.
What if there are not enough registered members available for a game? Registered members will always be given playing priority. If there are not enough registered players available then guests may be invited to play. As a principle guests will be asked to register after playing 1 game.
How & who do I pay? You should pay your cap & shirt fees to either the Club Treasurer, Club Captain & or Vice Captain who will be present at most games. Upon payment you will receive a confirmation receipt.
Individual match fees will be collected on the day by the nominated team captain and passed to the club Treasurer, Captain or Vice Captain.
How & who manages the Misfit Finances? All funds are managed by the Club Treasurer, who will publish financial statement to each member each quarter.
What are the additional match fee's? The total match costs that we need to cover for any game at CSC is $700. Therefore assuming we have 2 scholars in each game, the per player cost for = $700 / 20 paying players = $35. For ease of payment and to add to the club coffers we will round this up to $40.
Where we choose to host a visiting side, which means we carry all of the match costs the fee will remain at $40 per Misfit. The balance will be made up from registration & sponsorship funding.
For subsidized members the match fee for each game will be $10.
What does a match at CSC cost? Here is a breakdown of each expense item

How are tournament entry fees funded? There is normally an entry fee for competitive tournaments which can vary between $300-1500. Such entry fees will be covered by Sponsorship funding. Where sponsorship funding is not available, the players will be notified upfront of any shared costs that are required for entry.
What are the costs associated with running our website? Our website & chatboard technology is rented from tcteams.com & websitetoolbox.com which cost around US$4 per month.
What happens to any surplus funds at the end of the year? These will be used to subsidize our end of year awards evening. If funds are to used for any other purpose this will be put to a vote amongst club members.
Who do I contact if I have difficulty registering? Send an SMS to Nishan on 9863 2494, who will try to call you back the same day to resolve any issues
Note : When asked to enter your HOME phone number the site provides a US format which wont work so simply enter any three numbers in each box to get you passed this stage
