*On March 15, 2011 Sam Hunter was invited to participate in the U.S. Soccer Training Center held in Salt Lake City.
US Soccer Trainings are single day, invitational only training sessions run by US Soccer staff for ELITE Players in key soccer markets. The purpose of these trainings is to identify the best players for the US Soccer Youth National Team program.
Sam was chosen for the 98 ODP Boys Pool as a Goalie/Keeper. These players are chosen on their potential to play as an ELITE player with the National Team. Players are recommended by National and State Level Coaches.
Sam has also done ODP for the last two years. Sam attends Sam Morgan Elementary as a 6th grader and will attend Fairfield Jr. High next year.
Sam participated in the 2010 state cup. He was a vital part in helping his team reach the final. Sam had to go through two PK shootouts one in the quarterfinals and one in the semifinals.
Great showing for the Rampage SC who had 3 teams competing in the Utah State in 2010. All of the teams made it through their group play and on to Quarter, Semi, and or Final games.

What could a coach ask for more, win a regional qualifier tournament? Well that was the goal for this U14 team at the Presidents Cup 2010. Friday night under the lights it started off with a great game against the Fire FC team from Southern Utah and this was also a costly game for some of the players. They played the best that I've seen this team play in years, as a TEAM! The game ended in a 2-0 loss with 2
