    Welcome Our New Goalie Trainer

On behalf of Rampage SC we would like to welcome our new goalie trainer Gavin Garside.  He has been playing soccer for his whole life and started playing goalie when he was 12 but really didn't enjoy it.  His Freshman year in High School he played on the field for Bonniville HS but that summer he went to a Goalie camp where his love for the goalie position came from.  The following Sophmore thru Senior years at Bonniville he was the fulltime goalie and they went to the State semi's twice and runnerup once.  He has been coaching soccer for the past 4 years and is currently the Bonniville HS goalie trainer.

    Welcome Gavin.

    Rampage 2014-2015 Tryout Information

Rampage SC offers teams at various levels of in-state competition, allowing individual players to choose the level of commitment and competition that suits that player, while still enjoying high levels of training. Rampage SC will place players on teams based on skill level and will strive to have premier (Black), select (Blue) and developmental (White and Silver) teams in all age levels when possible.

A player is expected to make a full year commitment (Fall 2014 and Spring 2015). Teams hold training sessions and play tournaments throughout the year (including summer and winter). For the U11-U14 age groups, games are played during the fall season (late August through October) and spring season (late March through May).

U15-U18 Boys will play June through February. U15-U18 Girls will play June and July and then November through May. These teams only play one season of competitive soccer per year (boys – fall, girls – spring). During the other season, teams in these age groups play high school soccer (girls – fall, boys – spring). Rampage SC will attempt to form provisional teams for high school age players not playing for their respective high schools.

Teams are encouraged to play in tournaments. Premier teams will travel to out-of-state tournaments 2-4 times per year as well as they may play several in-state tournaments. Other level teams may travel to out-of-state tournaments as well as play in several in-state tournaments.

Once placed on a team, players are required to complete UYSA registration immediately.

    Director of Coaching Announcement

The Rampage Soccer Board of Directors is pleased to announce Travis Loftus as the new Director of Coaching. Travis started coaching soccer in 2004 with Sting FC. In 2005, he moved to an independent soccer club (Wolf Pack) where he coached two teams.  Travis then realized the importance of having teams be associated with a larger club.  He began interviewing with many of the local clubs and liked the philosophy and ideas of Rampage SC.  Travis joined Rampage SC in 2006. He has coached multiple teams within the club over the past eight years. In January 2009, he served as Vice President for the Rampage Soccer Club for a year. Travis brings strong leadership, organizational skills, and varied playing experiences. We feel like Travis will excel in this position with his experience, coupled with his passion and love for the game.

    Travis's Philosophy:
"Practice the way you're going to play."
"You're going to get out of it, what you put in it."
