We cordially invite you to play in our 1st Annual Tournament, the Santa Clarita Coaster Classic, which will be held on the weekend of April 10-11, 2010 for boys and girls U9 thru U13. I would personally like to invite your team to our event. We will offer top competition for teams throughout Southern California. We will play soccer on quality fields, ensuring a rewarding experience for all level teams.
CLASSIFICATION:
A Class l CYSA-South sanctioned tournament for club teams &
A Class III CYSA-South sanctioned tournament for AYSO teams.
DIVISIONS:
Boys: U-9 thru U-13 age groups
Girls: U-9 thru U-13 age groups
FORMAT:
Each team guaranteed 3 games, finals on Sunday. No Friday night check-in. All teams will check-in 90 minutes prior to their first game.
AWARDS:
All players and coaches will receive a tournament Pin. First place teams will receive a team trophy. First and second place teams will receive individual medals.
FEES:
$425.00 U-9 thru U-10 $475.00 U-11 thru U-13
ENTRY DEADLINE:
Teams must register or have a completed application with payment post marked by March 21, 2010.
NOTIFICATION:
Notification of acceptance via e-mail will occur within 2 weeks of entry receipt. Contact tournament director if you need clarification.

We would like to welcome our High School Players back!!
With the older players coming back into full time
with the club, we have adjusted the clinic times
to separate the youngers and olders.
Starting this Friday;
Olders Clinic: [U13 and up] 5pm-6
Youngers Clinic: [U12 and below] 6pm-7
We look forward to seeing you all there.
Central Park Field has moved to Field 8 for the month of March.

Effective Wednesday, Feb. 17, we will be moving to the north side (small sided field) of the field. The baseball diamond is now being used for baseball practices. Please do not move into the baseball diamond area at all.

Youth Public Skills Clinic
SCU will be suspending our youth public skills clinics until after Easter. Spring Skills Clinics will be announced via email and the website, www.scunited.com, with the start date.
Thank you for your continued participation in our youth skills clinics. We look forward to seeing your son or daughter in the next month or so.
Thanks to all of you who attended the Townhall Meeting.
We hope all that attended, found it exciting and are looking forward to the many events coming our way.

We are firming up the location, but plan on coming out to register for the new 2010-2011 season.
Your team will be able to register, sign their Cal South Forms, get sized for new uniforms, order additional merchandise from our business partners, sign up for the Revlon Cancer walk at USC, purchase their SCU Girl's Banquet tickets and ask any questions regarding SCU to the Board Members that will be present.
Lot's of excitement on this evening, so don't miss out.
SCU will be conducting tryouts for the following age groups. The club is going through an exciting transition period and we would like to give you the opportunity to experience our new soccer development program.
