Shakhtar finish 2nd in their inaugural season in Delco

The Ukrainian National Shakhtar defeated the NPAA Nitro’s 2-1 on a rain soaked day to secure a 2nd place finish in the top U-9 Boys division of the Delco soccer league. The team finished 7-1-1 in its inaugural season. In the league playoff’s the Shakhtar lost in overtime in a semi-final to West Chester, which went on to defeat Lower Merion 7-1 in the championship.
