Practice And Field Responsibility
(Updated 01/10/12)
FAQ FOR TURF FIELDS
If I am scheduled to train on the turf can I move off of the turf and go train on any field? No, if you are scheduled to train on the turf then train on the turf. We do not want open spots on the turf schedule. It is designed to be used for training and save wear and tear on the grass fields. The turf slots must be filled up before I schedule teams to train on the grass.
If there are two teams scheduled to train on the turf can we scrimmage? Yes, if both teams agree I have no problem with it and unlike the grass, they are not damaging already poor goal mouths and field conditions.
If I see an open spot on the turf schedule can I show up and train on it? No, you may practice on your scheduled nights and times only unless authorized by the Field Coordinator.
Can I stay on the turf until the other team training after me shows up? No, you should leave the turf five (5) minutes prior to your end time and clean up after yourselves.
ALL COACHES AND MANAGERS:
Our Club DOES NOT use the field assigning given by the different leagues. The field you will be playing on will be posted on our Club web site on the "Schedules" page.
The Coach (or Manager, but not both) must forward the team's home game scheduled dates and times.

Why!
State Cups, Spring, and Field Use
- Anticipation of early cup schedules does not mean early training time on our fields. We are not affording accommodation of practice time to any team prior to April spring league schedules.
- Field #2 (small lighted field) will not be in use prior to Memorial Weekend.
- Field #3 will see minimal activity as well.
- Night practices are not available. The lighted fields are not used during Spring sessions and space is not guaranteed to anyone at anytime.
- We offer no reservations or scrimmages.
Field space is for training teams only
- Are there exceptions? Generally, state cup games take precedence over Spring league schedules. This has not been a problem in the past but may be this spring.
- Field #1 is off limits all of the time for training.
- Practices are allowed on undamaged field space. Shooting and other goal area practices should use Dutch nets and not jeopardize already poor goalmouths.
- Teams that anticipate the need to play and practice need to explore alternate solutions.
- Ukrainian Nationals fields will not be put in jeopardy due to weather or poor conditions which absolutely occur during the spring.
- All activity must be approved by Bob Sitler by email at bobsitler@verizon.net
