FFC Recreation Soccer Registration for Fall 2017 / Spring 2018 Seasons
REGISTRATION FOR PRE-K THROUGH 8TH GRADE IS NOW OPEN!
Fall 2017 Recreation Games will be played on the following dates:
September 16 (Season Opener)
September 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28
November 4 (Closing game)
Spring 2018 Recreation Games will tentatively be played on the following dates:
April 7 (Season Opener)
April 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19
May 26 (Closing game)
Recreation Soccer Registration - PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY
Online registration is simple. You will need your player(s) birth date, emergency contact information, address, and other contact information. Please be ready with your coach and teammate request, if applicable, and have your credit card information ready. The program will accept VISA or Master Card. AMERICAN EXPRESS IS NOT ACCEPTED. Please register and pay early and on time.
TEAM FORMATION and CLUB INFORMATION
A very large majority of soccer players that live and/or attend school, private and public, within the Salt Lake City boundaries, are FFC players, who enjoy playing on teams with their classmates and/or schoolmates, and we welcome anyone AND everyone who is interested in joining our CLUB. Firebirds FC Recreation program is a neighborhood-oriented league. Teams are formed based on age and Firebirds FC does its best to place players with schoolmates or friends from nearby schools and/or neighborhoods. Assigning players across some 100+ teams is a process that requires an early commencement, in order for uniforms, schedules and fields to all be properly prepared, for an early September start-up. PLEASE REGISTER and PAY EARLY, AND ON TIME.
FFC will begin forming teams on July 16, 2017. Rosters will be filled to capacity at that time with players REGISTERED and PAID to that point. We create team rosters early to ensure proper placement of players and coaches. We cannot guarantee that "Special Requests" for coaches or teammates already assigned during the initial team formation will be honored once teams have been formed. THEREFORE PLEASE REGISTER AND PAY EARLY, AND ON TIME TO AVOID MISSING OUT ON PLAYING ON YOUR DESIRED TEAM. If your registration record is not completed with payment made at the time of registering and remains unpaid, your player will not be placed on a team roster. Please make sure to complete your registration transaction with payment in full when registering.

IMPORTANT NOTE: APPLICANTS WHO REGISTER BUT DO NOT COMPLETE PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE, WILL BE PUT ON THE WAITLIST AFTER THE CLOSURE OF ONLINE REGISTRATION.
RECREATION REGISTRATION FEE
Recreation Registration fees are $179 for the seasonal year of 2017/2018. We do offer a sibling discount but transactions for all family members must be completed at the same time, so that discounts can be calculated. LATE FEES OF $20 will APPLY JULY 2nd. What the registration fees includes:
- Two full Gaming Seasons with a total of (16) season games - (8) games each during the Fall and Spring seasons
- FFC Soccer team uniform**
- Coaching clinics for our recreation coaches organized and run by professional soccer coaches and trainers.
- Field rental fees
- Paid referees for all games
- Field markings and goal setup on game days.
**You will be asked to enter your player's uniform size. Because uniform orders are placed in advance of registration closing, FFC endeavors but cannot guarantee that requested sizes will be available. We will however make every effort to provide your requested sizing or some similar sizing whenever possible.
CLUB FEE REFUND POLICY - PLEASE READ
FALL 2017 - SPRING 2018 SOCCER SEASON
It is the policy of Firebirds FC that once a player is registered for the recreation soccer season(s), the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. This allows the Club to ensure the viability of a team for other players who depend on the commitment of all players to the team for their soccer opportunities. This non-refund policy also allows Firebirds FC to make financial commitments for fields, equipment, referees, and other expenditures necessary for the activities involved for all players for the upcoming year, all of which require advanced commitments from the club.
We have had some challenges with the Bank that supports our payment processing and we have now moved our payment system over to another organization. PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW
